Scribbidy Scrubs: What's In A Name

I have often wondered where some companies get their names. I mean WalMart is easy. The guy who started it was named Sam WALton. But Google? And Starbucks? Where did those names come from?

Well I was recently talking to the owner of Scribbidy Scrubs.com and she told me how she got started selling Discount Nursing Scrubs and Medical Uniforms. It seems she had been a nurse for about 12 years before starting Scribbidy Scrubs. She said that after more than a decade of buying scrubs she had compiled a huge collection of scrubs she liked to wear and had thrown out an even larger pile of scrubs she didn't like. She had found several high quality scrub manufacturers over the years and decided to sell their scrubs online at a discount rate.

Now for the name. Apparently the name Scribbidy comes from her brother-in-law's pathetic attempt at coming up with a high scoring Scrabble word. When asked to use the word in a sentence he said: Scribbidy Grabbledy Scrabble. No points were awarded but the word Scribbidy stuck.

Now Scribbidy Scrubs.com is a leading seller of Cross Over Scrub Sets, Print Scrub Tops, Solid Scrub Sets, Medical Lab Coats and other Nursing Apparel.
